Meet the team
JWC is a family business at heart - owner and licenced builder Jeremy Cooper together with his ‘wing man’ Fletcher Hayllar are two best mates, and ‘great blokes’ who have grown up together, raised their families together and surfed together for over 40 years. Their business relationship is based on transparency and trust, complementing each other, both bringing unique and diverse skills and experience to client projects. Young gun apprentice Jordy also joined the team in 2021.
Jeremy and Fletcher can provide you with a detailed overview of your building project with clear expectations of cost and timings, based on the scope provided.
JWC have an incredible loyal team of experts and preferred sub-contractors and suppliers that they work with to complete all aspects of the build and ensure successful delivery of the project.

Jeremy Cooper
Owner/Licenced Builder
Jeremy is a licensed builder with almost 30 years’ experience in building and home renovations. Not only a quality builder, Jeremy can also talk with you about your specific building needs, bringing a wealth of experience, problem solving and creative ideas to achieve your home renovation goals.
Jeremy can work closely with your own designers and architects to bring to life your dream project, and recommend experts to help with this part of the process. He knows how important your home is, and by the end of the project will feel like part of the family!
Jeremy is a dedicated father of two, loves a weekend surf on the jetski, and doesn’t mind a coffee and a chat.
Fletcher Hayllar
Partner
Fletcher has over 25 years’ experience as a qualified tradesperson and workplace safety manager. After a successful career with Qantas spanning 20 years as a Structural Aircraft Engineer and Safety Manager, he joined Jeremy in 2018 to help manage and grow the business operations and has never looked back.
In addition to building, Fletcher oversees the management of all JWC projects from end to end to ensure on time and within budget delivery. Fletcher will provide clients with detailed weekly reports to ensure full transparency at every stage of the project and offers a ‘no surprises’ open and honest approach to building and renovating.
Fletcher is a dedicated father of two, spends his spare time chasing big waves and doesn’t mind an old episode of Seinfeld or two.
Jordy Turansky
Building Apprentice
Jordy joined the team in 2021 as a building apprentice and is now an integral part of the JWC team.
Jordy is friendly, hard working, and brings a fresh approach and perspective to JWC. He loves to help troubleshooting ideas and just gets the job done.
When Jordy is not on the tools with JWC, you can find him centre stage on the world surfing scene.
